Here are Thursday’s biggest percentage gainers and losers, along with top volume leaders, among companies with a market cap between $50 million and $750 million:

Biggest percentage gainers:

Santander BanCorp (NYSE:SBP), up 28.7% to $12.90 despite no fresh news.
Sucampo Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq:SCMP), up 19.1% to $11.41 despite no significant announcements.
Yucheng Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq:YTEC), up 17.3% to $12.67 after the provider of technology services announced that it inked a contract and started providing point-of-sale services to the Beijing branch of China Construction Bank.

Biggest percentage losers:

Mexco Energy Corp. (AMEX:MXC), down 31.1% to $34.05 despite no significant announcements but likely on the easing price of crude oil.
Pyramid Oil Co. (AMEX:PDO), down 28.4% to $19.40 despite no reports from the Bakersfield, Calif.-based firm.
