Clarient rises despite missing Q4 expectations
Clarient, Inc. (Nasdaq:CLRT) shares are up after the Aliso Viejo, Calif.-based oncology diagnostics services company reported before Friday’s trading that its fourth-quarter revenue rose to $12.4 million, from $8.1 million a year earlier. Analysts expected $13.1 million in revenue. The firm’s quarterly net loss widened to $3.9 million, or $0.05 per share, compared with a loss of $3.4 million, or $0.05 per share, during the year-ago period. Analysts anticipated a loss of $0.02 per share. In afternoon trading, CLRT shares are up 2.14%, or $0.03 per share, at $1.48.
