Coachmen Industries rises 15% after swinging to Q1 profit
Coachmen Industries, Inc. (NYSE:COA) shares are up more than 15% after the RV maker reported after Monday’s close that it swung to a first-quarter profit of $1.3 million, or $0.08 per share, versus a loss of $10.4 million, or $0.67 per share, a year earlier. Despite the higher earnings, the Elkhart, Ind.-based company’s quarterly sales fell 7% to $121.3 million from $130.2 million a year ago.
