Gilat Satellite Networks to be acquired by private equity consortium for $475M

Satellite-based communications networks products and services provider Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (Nasdaq:GILT) said this morning that it will be acquired by a consortium of private equity investors including, The Gores Group, Mivtach Shamir Holdings, companies affiliated with Roy Ben-Yami, Ami Lustig and Eytan Stibbe and DGB Investments for $475 million, or $11.40 per share. Shares gained 5.3%, or $0.55, to $10.99 in pre-market trading.
