ID Systems announces additional Wal-Mart orders
Shares of ID Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: IDSY) are gaining ground after the seller of integrated wireless solutions for enterprise assets reported today in an SEC filing that Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT) ordered the company’s wireless asset net industrial vehicle management system to be used in 13 additional Wal-Mart stores.
According to the filing, this order was made based on an agreement ID Systems architected with Wal-Mart last July.
The order brings the total number of Wal-Mart stores that use ID System’s Wireless Asset Net to 21.
Shares of ID Systems gained $1.88, or 18.5%, to $12.04 in mid-day trading Monday.
