Pre-market: Cell Therapeutics gets fast track

Seattle-based Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: CTICD) has been granted a fast-track designation by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for its treatment of refractory indolent non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, the company announced this morning.  Shares are up $0.04, or 0.73%, to $5.50.

Shares of Retalix Ltd. (Nasdaq: RTLX) are gaining on news this morning that the Israeli software solutions company has released a new solution called Retalix StoreLine QSR that allows grocers to incorporate functionality to manage deli-preparation operations and quick service restaurants (QSR) within their stores.  The stock is up $0.22, or 1%, to $22.44.

Newtown, Pa.-based CollaGenex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: CGPI) has discontinued treatment of all enrolled patients participating in a Phase II dose-finding study of a treatment of acne, the company said this morning.  Shares are down $0.05, or 0.45%, to $11.16.

Shares of Cambridge, Mass.-based Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALNY) are moving on news this morning that a study of a drug for the treatment of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection showed positive results.  The stock is up $0.51, or 3%, to $19.27.

Shares of Nabi Biopharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: NABI) are trading higher following news this morning that a Phase II study of the Boca Raton-based company’s nicotine vaccine showed that it was effective.  The stock is up $0.01, or 0.19%, to $5.25.
