Pre-market: Megal Security expands to Brazil
Shares of Magal Security Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: MAGS) are lower despite news this morning that the Israeli maker of computerized security systems has partnered with a Brazilian company to provide consultants. The stock is down $0.13, or 1%, to $10.31.
Eden Prairie, Minn.-based Stratasys, Inc. (Nasdaq: SSYS), which manufactures rapid prototyping systems and devices has been included in Standard & Poor’s SmallCap 600 index after the close on June 14, according to changes announced after Tuesday’s close. Shares are down $1.46, or 3%, to $46.26.
Shares of Bronco Drilling Company, Inc. (Nasdaq: BRNC) are looking down despite news after Tuesday’s close that the Edmond, Okla.-based land drilling services company reported fleet utilization of 77% for May, compared with 71% in April. The stock has lost $0.24, or 1%, to $16.79.
Hillsboro, Ore.-based fables semiconductor company MathStar, Inc. (Nasdaq: MATH) announced after Tuesday’s close the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 21,875,000 shares of newly issued common stock at $1.60 per share. The company expects about $32.4 million in net proceeds. Shares are down $0.20, or 10%, to $1.85.
Tower Semiconductor Ltd. (Nasdaq: TSEM), an Israeli-based specialty foundry, has accepted orders for approximately $40 million of long term bonds with an average duration of 5.6 years from Israeli institutions, it said this morning. The funding will allow Tower Semiconductor to increase its manufacturing capacity. Shares are flat at $1.56.
Nastech Pharmaceutical Company Inc. (Nasdaq: NSTK) has been issued a patent for its Nascobal Nasal Spray by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the Bothell, Wash.-based company said this morning. Patent in hand, Nastech is set to receive $2 million in from a license agreement. Nevertheless, the stock has moved down $0.59, or 5%, to $11.18.
