The Dixie Group posts Q1 sales decline
The Dixie Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:DXYN) shares are up slightly after the carpet maker reported first-quarter net sales of $70.7 million, down 5% from $74.5 million a year earlier. Quarterly net income declined to $13,000, or breakeven per share, versus $0.2 million, or $0.01 per share, during the year-ago quarter.
