TomoTherapy skids on lowered ’08 guidance, expects loss in Q1
Shares of TomoTherapy Inc. (Nasdaq:TOMO) are souring today after the maker of the Hi•Art treatment systems for advanced radiation therapy said after Thursday’s close that it is lowering its full year fiscal 2008 guidance and now expects to record a net loss in the first-quarter net loss due to an unanticipated shift of customer system deliveries into the second half of 2008 and into early 2009. Wall Street was forecasting a net profit for the first quarter.
