Blackrock Unveils AI Analyst

Blackrock is the world’s largest asset manager.

The firm quietly previewed a new Artificial Intelligence agent at a recent Investor Day event in New York.

The new AI agent is called Asimov.

It’s the newest AI tool developed by Blackrock AI Labs. The initiative aims to develop AI tools that improve the investment results for the firm’s clients.

COO Robert Goldstein explained how it works.

“This is a virtual investment analyst. So while everyone else is sleeping at night, we have these virtual AI agents, they’re scanning research notes, company filings, e-mails to generate portfolio insights. And I expect that by the next BlackRock Investor Day, Asimov is being used all over the firm, helping scale our people to drive better investment outcomes.”

Here’s the thing.

Blackrock is huge – with over $13.5 trillion in client asset.

This new AI tool will be used by the firm’s investment managers. However, I’d be willing to bet that they’ll never made this available to regular investors.
