Privacy Policy

Wyatt Investment Research, LLC

This website is wholly owned, operated and published by Wyatt Investment Research, LLC (“WIR”). We have created a privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this website. We take your privacy very seriously. If you have any questions about this policy, please call Customer Care between 9am – 5pm Eastern Time at 1-866-447-8625.

By visiting our web site(s), you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use and Disclaimer . It is your responsibility to read and understand these documents and terms prior to reviewing any information from WIR, signing up for any free or paid subscription newsletter service, or submitting any personal information to our firm. From time to time, WIR may update or revise its Terms of Use and Disclaimer or Privacy Policy and we encourage you to periodically review those documents for our most recent policies.

We gather a large amount of information in order to help fulfill your requests. This information includes, but is not limited to, name, email address, phone number, mobile phone number, postal address, billing address, IP address, time and date login information, and credit card information for users who elect to pay for subscriptions using a credit card. This information is used to fulfill requests and allows our staff to better serve users. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for our company and our web sites.

Email Address

When you subscribe, your email is added to our database and used to send you issues, alerts, special notices, and advertisements. You will receive advertisements about other products and services from WIR. You will occasionally receive emails sent from us on the behalf of third party paid advertisers. These messages are clearly marked as advertisements. We will not sell your email address to third parties.

Discontinuance of Emails

In accordance with CAN-SPAM legislation, it is our policy to include instructions and means for removal from our database at any time in an automated fashion. We provide instructions for removal at the bottom of every email sent from our company, with the exception of paid subscription newsletter issues, which require the subscriber to cancel their membership in order to discontinue receiving issues of the publication.

At the bottom of each email communication we include detailed instructions for removal from our email lists, including:

  1. Displaying the recipient’s email address that is in our database and receiving the message.
  1. Providing a customized URL that allows the recipient to click to our web site and automatically manage their subscriptions, including canceling all email subscriptions or selecting to receive no further messages from our firm.
  1. An active email address to contact us in order to request manual removal or discontinuance of future email messages from our firm.
  1. Our postal address for mailing a formal request to our firm.

Our websites allow subscribers to manage their subscriptions, including:

  1. Selecting to discontinue a subscription.
  1. Selecting to be put on a Do Not Mail List.

WIR maintains a DO NOT MAIL LIST. This is a list of subscribers who have decided that they never wish to receive another message from our firm. These email addresses are collected and maintained in a separate file in our database. These individuals will not receive future emails from WIR, including free email newsletters, advertisements directly from WIR, or advertisements from third party advertisers sent on our behalf.

Email addresses on this list will not receive future email messages from our firm. Subscribers are encouraged to make sure that the address receiving emails from WIR is in fact the same address in our database by clicking the unique URL at the end of an email message from our firm, or forwarding the received email communication to our customer service department so that we may see which email address was the recipient of an email from our firm.

You can also remove yourself from our list by visiting out subscription center, see visit our subscription preference center.

Paid Subscription Newsletters

We sell subscriptions to our paid subscription newsletters through our web sites. Users respond to our advertisements and visit our web site to sign up for newsletter subscriptions. These paid subscription newsletters are fulfilled through our web site, by email, and by postal mail. Users can expect to receive notices regarding the status of their subscription account, issues of the newsletter, and information regarding our services by way of email.

Newsletter Trials

We offer free trial memberships to some of our newsletters. Users who sign up for such an offer can expect to receive notices regarding the status of their subscription account, issues of the newsletter, and information regarding our services by way of email during their trial membership. Once the trial period is over users can expect to receive our free weekly email newsletter and information regarding other services provided by WIR and our partners or advertisers. Users who do not wish to receive future emails following a trial membership should follow the Discontinuance instructions within this Privacy Policy (see above).

Free Newsletters

In addition to paid subscriptions and trials, we offer free email newsletters. Users can sign up for free newsletters by completing a form on our website. Free newsletters are also available to users through partner websites and websites where we advertise. Former or expired users receive subscriptions to our free newsletters at the end of their paid subscription period.

Users who do not wish to receive future emails following a trial membership should follow the Discontinuance instructions within this Privacy Policy (see above).

Direct Email Advertisements

We utilize email as a communication channel to send information regarding our products and services to our current paid subscribers, free trial members, and subscribers to our free email newsletters. We send these email messages only to individuals who have directly requested information from our firm (i.e., signed up for a free trial membership or a free newsletter) or have or in the past have had a direct relationship with our firm (i.e., a previous customer).

Users who do not wish to receive future emails following a trial membership should follow the Discontinuance instructions within this Privacy Policy (see above).

Advertising Using Third Parties

We occasionally advertise via email with qualified third-party companies that are managing their email database(s) of subscribers in accordance with CAN-SPAM legislation and best industry practices. When we advertise by email through a third party or through an agency, we do so in accordance with the following policies:

  1. The advertisement is sent only to users who have agreed to receive ADVERTISEMENT or SPECIAL OFFER emails from the list owner.
  1. The advertisement is sent FROM the company owning the email list.
  1. The advertisement is clearly marked as an ADVERTISEMENT or SPECIAL OFFER.
  1. The firm managing the email list has clear instructions and functionality in place for prompt removal from the email list.
  1. Our contact information is made available so that recipients can contact us and instruct us not to send future advertisements.
  1. We instruct the firm sending the advertisement on our behalf to compare WIR’s “Do Not Mail” file against their distribution list in order to assure that those who have requested to NOT receive information from WIR do not receive unwanted advertisements or offers from our firm.

Third Party Advertising Through Us

We occasionally send email advertisements and offers to our subscribers or members on behalf of third-party advertisers or agencies acting on their behalf, in accordance with CAN-SPAM legislation and best industry practices. PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION OF USERS WILL NOT BE SOLD TO A THIRD PARTY ADVERTISER EXCEPT IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE OF ALL OR SUBSTANTIALLY ALL OF WIR’S ASSETS. However, as part of this advertising program, WIR will provide the advertiser with the required information required to fulfill the users request. This includes, but is not limited to, name, postal address, email address, and phone number. Under no circumstance will WIR provide an advertiser with any credit card information from our users. When we send an advertisement or special offer on behalf of a third party or through an agency, we do so in accordance with the following:

  1. The advertisement is sent only to users who have agreed to receive ADVERTISEMENT or SPECIAL OFFER emails from WIR.
  1. The advertisement is sent FROM WIR or the specific newsletter to which the recipient is subscribed (g., Wyatt Investment Research Special Offers).
  1. The advertisement is clearly marked as an ADVERTISEMENT or SPECIAL OFFER.
  1. There are clear instructions and functionality in place for prompt removal from the email list.
  1. Our contact information is made available so that recipients can contact us and instruct us not to send future advertisements.
  1. We request that advertisers provide WIR with a “Do Not Mail” file to be compared against our internal list prior to sending an advertisement in order to assure that those who have requested to NOT receive information from the third party advertiser do not receive unwanted advertisements or offers.
