One cannabis company has its sights on national expansion in the cannabis industry – and it’s hiring some big players.
Acreage Holdings announced that John Boehner – the former Speaker of the House – is now on the advisory board.
The company also hired former Massachusetts Governor William Weld.
Boehner said, “Over the last 10 or 15 years, the American people’s attitudes have changed dramatically. I find myself in that same position.”

Acreage Holdings cultivates, processes and dispenses cannabis in 11 states. The company currently holds 35 cannabis licenses. And it’s working to expand nationwide.
