Morgan Stanley believes that artificial intelligence is the most important technological shift in modern history.

The U.S. leads the way with semiconductor chips from Nvidia. However, our country simply doesn’t have enough electricity to power all of the new AI data centers that are coming online.

That’s why Morgan Stanley predicts a coming power shortage in the U.S.

The firm predicts that “the U.S. will have a 44GW power shortfall in powering AI Data Centers by 2028.”

This will require a huge buildout of energy production. It can’t come soon enough.
