Donald Trump just escalated the Greenland standoff.
He appointed Louisiana’s governor as Washington’s special envoy to Greenland – and Denmark is fuming because of it.
Most investors don’t know that Trump’s Greenland interest is very bullish for space stocks.
Here’s how I’m riding this trend with this hidden space stock.
Trump just tapped Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry “as the U.S. Special Envoy to Greenland.”
The response from Denmark was immediate and furious.
Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen told local media he was “deeply outraged” and said he would summon U.S. Ambassador to Denmark Ken Howery.
Most people don’t know that the Arctic region could become the next frontier in the new Space Race 2.0.
Here’s why.
At the heart of America’s presence in the region is Pituffik Space Base.
This is a remote installation on Greenland’s northwestern coast.
It’s a key piece of U.S. space operations and missile defense.
Originally built during the Cold War…
Its strategic importance has only grown.
Space dominance is becoming increasingly important for global influence.
That’s why the U.S. Department of Defense is doubling down on the Arctic.
As the senior leader of the U.S. Space Force explained:
“The Department of Defense has unveiled a new Arctic strategy, underscoring the region’s critical importance to our national security and that of our allies.
Maintaining a strong presence and projecting power from the Arctic is paramount; we must fortify it, ensuring that we capitalize on our unique position at the top of the world to safeguard our interests and those of our allies.”
Here’s the big takeaway.
The Arctic is the next frontier of military power and space defense.
Trump knows it.
What he will do next with Greenland is still uncertain.
But one thing is crystal clear.
He’s giving a lot of importance to the space sector.
That’s why in his inauguration speech he vowed to launch the Space Race 2.0 and expand our dominance beyond Earth’s orbit.
This is very bullish for space stocks…
Which are now soaring because of SpaceX’s IPO.
That’s why I’m personally buying shares of a company I call “the next SpaceX.”
