Apple (AAPL), Amazon (AMZN) Headline Tech-Heavy Earnings Week

Last week was big banks earnings week. This week tech stocks take center stage.

Some of the biggest names in the technology sector report first-quarter earnings this week. Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) and Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN) are the two headliners, but several other noteworthy tech companies will also report earnings.

One of them is Netflix (Nasdaq: NFLX). The online video rental service slumped severely in 2011 after a series of missteps by founder Reed Hastings. But the stock bounced back last quarter, boosted by earnings that beat analyst estimates.  Netflix hopes to pick up where it left off when it reports first-quarter earnings after the market closes today.
