OpenAI is going to war…

Today OpenAI released a 9-minute video with Sam Altman and a man named Jony Ives.
Jony is known as the designer of the Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) iPhone.
In 2019 he retired from Apple after nearly 30 years. Jony was Steve Jobs’ right-hand man – leading design of Apple’s hardware and software.
Last year he emerged from retirement to launch a new company called IO (private) to build AI-powered consumer devices.
The startup already raised $1 billion in funding from Steve Jobs’ wife, Silicon Valley venture capitalists and OpenAI.
IO plans to create “the iPhone of AI.”
Yesterday OpenAI announced plans to buy Jony Ives startup for $6.5 billion. Jony and his team of 55 engineers will join the team at OpenAI.
In 2026 they plan to release a new AI device. And it could be the biggest consumer device breakthrough since the iPhone.
It’s expected to spark Phase 2 of the AI revolution.
