On Tuesday, Britain said it would NOT ban new 5G wireless equipment from Huawei.

Britain’s decision referred to certain “high-risk vendors” that pose greater security risks. And these companies will be limited in providing 5G technology.

Huawei is undoubtedly on the “high risk” list. However, the company will be allowed to provide 5G technology for certain commercial use.

U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson and the National Security Council announced the decision.

The move follows over one year of intense pressure from the Trump administration on 5G technology. Earlier this month, the U.S. deputy national security advisor and a team visited London to make the case against Huawei.

The U.K. is stuck in the middle.

Allowing Huawei to supply 5G technology is certainly making President Trump furious. And the U.S. has already threatened to stop sharing intelligence if Britain allowed China to build the 5G network.

Meanwhile, the U.K. is working to secure new trade deals ahead of Brexit. And that means negotiating a deal with China. Taking a hard stand against Huawei could create challenges in negotiating the best deal moving forward.

Huawei already employs 1,600 people in the U.K.

One Trump administration official commented, “We look forward to working with the U.K. on a way forward that results in the exclusion of untrusted vendor components from 5G networks. We continue to urge all countries to carefully assess the long-term national security and economic impacts of allowing untrusted vendors access to important 5G network infrastructure.”

Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was heading to London yesterday to meet with his counterpart and the prime minister.

On his flight, Pompeo told reporters, “We will make sure that when American information passes across a network, we are confident that that network is a trusted one. Our view of Huawei is putting it in your system creates real risk.”

The U.S. isn’t giving up on Britain – and other allies.

Here in America over $100 billion is being spent on new 5G networks. And ZERO dollars will be spent with China’s Huawei or other vendors.

That presents a remarkable and timely situation for smart investors.

Right now is the single best time to BUY “All American” 5G stocksbefore the rollout is completed.
