Here’s the lawsuit…

“OpenAI, Inc. has been transformed into a closed-source de facto subsidiary of the largest technology company in the world: Microsoft…

Under its new board, it is not just developing but is actually refining an AGI to maximize profits for Microsoft, rather than for the benefit of humanity.”

Musk was a co-founder of OpenAI.

OpenAI was setup as a non-profit.

Yet Altman wanted to create a non-profit subsidiary to profit from Artificial Intelligence.

Musk disagreed with this approach.

This resulted in Musk pulling funding and resigning from the board.

That’s when Microsoft stepped in with $13 billion in funding.

OpenAI went on to launch ChatGPT in late 2022 – sparking the AI boom.

Today, OpenAI is valued at $80 billion.

Musk has claimed that OpenAI’s for-profit transition was illegal. And he wants to return the company to its founding principles.
